It has been difficult lately with new health problems springing up every time a doc follows up on one problem with more tests. In addition to clarifying the problem, it seems to reveal new problems. What a cycle! If there is a problem, I suppose it is best to find it now. I would like to get this resolved without interruption to my HCV TX (19 weeks to go). Finally down to number of weeks beginning with a "1". :)
Good news: PFO will NOT likely need surgery, just intracatherter implant: a pretty routine procedure.
Other news: Cardio doc won't do this until he finds out what the mass showing on aortic valve cusp is. Infection, thrombosis, tumor (these are usually benign), or just a shadow on the TEE images?
Bad news: Questions above require more tests (Blood cultures, Heart CT and possible MRI). So, here we go again! :)
Peace and good health to all y'all out there,
Brent
