So glad the school holidays are over and the kids are going back to Daycare and Kinder. They are both so lucky. Matti's Kinder teachers are wonderful ladies and Sara's Familly Daycare mum is a wonder lady too. The time that they are away gives me time to strive towards getting back on track and it's great to know that they are being looked after while I am doing this. Even know why they are away, the whole time I'm looking forward to when they come back. I don't know how I'm going to handle it when Matti goes to School next year 5 whole days without Matti, how boring that is going to be. I suppose that will give me time with Sara and since she will be almost 3 by then she's at the perfect age to start dance, gym or swimming or something like that. Will have to wait and see. She's a little bit of a tomboy at the moment, but at her daycare there's only girls. So she's getting to see how little girls play and interact with each other. She has come so far in the last couple of months since starting care. Best thing I ever did.
My brothers boy who is 10 day younger than Matti is struggling in Kinder with confidence and social skills. My sister in law never sent him to Daycare and he never really had a chance to interact with kids of his own age. I am sure though by the sounds of it that his teachers are making sure that he is getting the help he needs to be ready for school. Its good when Kinder teachers take the time to make sure every kids is getting the most out of their kinder experience.
Matti has become an XBOX 360 junkie, so I was trying to search for something to distract him. When we went shopping last night I brought him some new books and some magnetic numbers for the fridge. When we got home him and Sara played for nearly an hour with them it was so cute. I gave them some of their art work to stick on there. Matti was getting frustrated with Sara because she was putting the numbers upside down. Which I was happy about the fact the he is getting familiar with what numbers look like and he's trying to remember what order they go in. So I'm going to do a little art work of my own and see if he can copy it with the numbers. Love seeing him try he's so cute.
Well as you can tell my kids are my world at the moment as I am a stay at home mum, which makes me very happy. When Matti goes to school I am going to look at going back to study and try to move into a different career, but I will decide on that when it gets closer to the end of the year and I'm a lot more healthier I hope.
