I saw the psychiatrist yesterday and it is on record that I am deciding to exhaust all other measures before trying the antidepressants again.
Other measures include attending weekly one-on-one counseling and weekly women's group counseling, increased physical activity, journaling, abstaining from using alcohol or any other substance, and using mindfulness/relaxation exercises.
I hope that the measures mentioned above will help me with my sleep, but I will have to follow up with a Dr. about meds to help with the nocturia.
I am having a very difficult time with establishing a sleep pattern. The best I could do is generally sleeping from 5am-2pm, but that's after tossing and turning in bed from 1am-5am with the annoyance of an overactive bladder (nocturia).
I am going to try and utilize this site to its full advantage in my recovery.
