Abnormal thyroid...

My Fibro dr wanted to start me on neurontin so she ordered  a blood draw to check my thyroid level. Well, the results are back on the thyroid and I was told that I am hypothyroid, which explains the exhaustion and other symptoms. The trouble is, My PCP is out of the office for the next two weeks and I can't get an appt for two weeks after that, which will mean another blood test that, since (I hope) she will want a more recent test, which we won't know the result for another two weeks. By then it will be time for my fibro dr appt again.

Know I'm just crying and moaning, but I am so tired of the "hurry up and wait" **** that we have to put up with in dealing with all this. I'm not even sure I want the neurontin, because she wants to stop my arm tremors. Hell, I can live with them, I WANT SOMETHING FOR THIS PAIN!!! How hard is it for her to understand: I hurt and I want to try something for the pain? WAKE UP, DOC!!!
