MRI Biopsy

The doc just called and the new sighting was benign.
I still have the other cancer tho so I am not overly excited.  Its like saying the melon (like the pun...) is only half rotten.

That's great, Sara!
At least you do not have to worry more than necessary.
Keep me posted and stay away from the heat and sun :)

Hey, take every positive that you can, and celebrate it. Great to hear the good news :)

Hi Sara,

Try thinking about the positives and not the negatives.  You will have your up and down days, but you will come out of the tunnel.  Good for you doing the Race for a Cure.  I was diagnoised 19th March 2007 and on 2nd June 2007 the day before I started my chemo I did the Dublin Ladies 10km Mini Marathon with my sister and friends in aid of Action Breast Cancer. I have participated in the race a few times before.  Approx 50,000 women take part every year and all do the race for charity. So I was as cheeky as could be and asked everyone for donations including my Surgeon and Oncologist.  I was pleasantly surprised at how generous most people were, but you know what, it was the big boys in companies or business who would give a corporate donation, but don't ask them to put their hands in their pocket.  Disappointing really as so many women and familes are affected by BC.  You just never know who is going to be next.  All in all I raised US Dollars 14,000 and was really pleased with myself.  I wanted to turn BC into something positive just like you. When I crossed the finish line I was a bit emotional.  My sister and I hugged, this year the race had a real personal meaning and my sister who would not normally walk to the end of the road, walked the race with me to show her support.  We all then proceeded to go out for a nice Indian meal (still in trainers, shorts and teeshirts) and then hit a few bars.  When I arrived for my first chemo the next day, the nurses asked how I was feeling.  Terrible said I, I had a massive hangover!
