Yesterday was the day that I held the baby shower for Hanacabana.
Thanks to the help from one of the older guests (Hazel - who is the mother of Hanacabana's mothers friend) The food was perfectly co-ordinated, the mess cleaned up promptly, and I was available to oversee the organisation of the event and also run the games.
I got Hanacabana to arrive 30mins early (at 12.30pm) and everyone else arrived from 1pm onwards. The shower went so well, and the games kept everyone entertained for so long, that the majority of the guests left at around 5pm. (some left a little earlier due to commitments)
I am pretty sure everyone enjoyed the food (they certainly made a huge dent in what I put out) and that they liked the prizes. (which very appropriately seemed to be won by people that they suited)
All in all the day was a big success. I had a wonderful time, and I hope that my own shower goes as well!
