ovulation

well.... according to the chart I have ovulated... Now I just have to wait and see if we conceived this past weekend. Its killer! I don't think august 4th can come quick enough...  I think that'll be enough time for a test. I have had irregular periods since off Seasonale so I'm not even sure exactly when my next AF will be. Countdown begins.... T-14 days!

Hi :-)

What are you using to predict ovulation? OPK, BBT? Monitoring CM?
If you are charting your basal body temperature, a lot of people think that the temperature shift signals them to start trying, when in fact, it's too late at that point.

Let me know and maybe I can help
Lots of baby dust to you :-)

Well it being my first month to try anything.. Just BBT, again its all new to me. I stopped my BCP last October to see what my cycle would do but only actively started trying this month. I did read that once your temp jumps its too late so I guess we'll just give it another try next month.... I was thinking of getting an OPK is there one better than another?? My cycle runs between 32 and 43 days so it makes it harder to predict when I'll be ovulating..... Any advice you wanna give would be great!

thanks for the baby dust!

My RE's office prefers the clearblue easy digital opk. They are pretty expensive when you are buying them month after month, but the best prices I've found are at Walmart. Walmart also has a 5 pack of the clearblue easy digital pregnancy tests for $20.

Definately monitor your cm. It's difficult at first, but once you figure out the different consistencies and positions, it's not too bad. Also, if you are charting your bbt, once you get the noticeable temp jump (mine is usually close to a whole degree jump), that's when you are ovulating. The best time to "try" is 3 or 4 days before that and the day of. Even 6 days before can result in pregnancy. Figure that out and then try the next month about 4 days before you think it will go up (based on the previous month's temp jump/ovulation day). So if your temp jumped up on cd 14 last month, you should try on cd 10, 11, 12, 13, 14.

I know, it's confusing, but you'll get the hang of it!!!
Best wishes and lots of baby dust!!!! :-)
