The 3-4-5 lumps at the base of my head in the back have been swelling more and more. I can feel a big difference in just the last couple of days. My head is pounding.
I also want to add,,,
My mom's face use to go parallized. They thought it was for bells palsey... but, test said neg. She had been through a battery of test over many years and was never able to secure a diagnosis.
Thought it may be important.

have they checked you for chiari malformation? I have the same bumps at the base of my head..I have chiari...it is a birth defect that cases migraines..the only test is a MRI and a good Dr. might ask your Dr...

Bells palsy is hard to diagnose because it mimics so many other things. it is possible that she had it but it was just misdiagnosed.
I looked into Chiari malformation, and boy oh boy… I am so sorry you have this. Actually, I have heard of the symptoms but never the name. I of course had to look this up and what a fine mess that is! Do you also suffer with MS?
I actually know of someone with this malady. He had his surgery a few months ago and is doing very well. He has also returned to work (though he probably shouldn’t have). But, he’s doing very well right now.
No, you are correct that my lumps are located in a different area. You can feel these… Chiari malformation can only be detected with and MRI (that’s what I read as well).
Though Chiari malformation does indeed have several similar symptoms; I doubt this is what I have.
It was very interesting reading about this medical problem especially after knowing someone for about 10 years and hearing that he, had the same procedure!
