Waiting for this thing to pop

Ok, so I have this lump but not round, more like oval shaped around my undie line/inner thigh for the last 2 weeks.
Yesterday it formed a soft centre area on the lump.
Went to Doctors which he prescribed antibiotics (Like always), doctor mentioned it looked a odd, not like most Boils. This is my second one within about 6 months.
I felt uneasy leaving the doctors after he had asked if I'd ever been diagnosed with Herpes (which I haven't), he didn't want to alarm me but with Herpes Virus people tend to get reoccurance of boils.
Which he also made a comment that the boil looked more like a blister. And tried to reassure me that it could some sort of boil with bacterial infection. (Didn't really understand him)

So I left the doctors, came home & was up all night worrying. It was a waiting game as the boil had not properly formed yet.
Over night the head of the boil increased & this morning, it's huge with a BIG puff of Yellow pus. It's not round but oval. Hasn't poped yet & the doctor is right, does not look like a boil.
I googled images on Boils last night & mine looks completely different.

Since early this morning the yellow area has puffed quite abit & looking on the side of it, it's raised up heaps ...
Hoping it won't pop anytime soon as I want to go back to the Doctors to get it check up again.
Gonna ask for a bloody Herpes test just in case too. Never know aye?
