Trying to conceive again.

My advice is talk to your doctor about Clomid since your periods are irregular.....my periods are irregular also and I was put on a low dose of Clomid and nothing the doctor put me at 100 mg of Clomid and well I got pregnant i had a miscarriage June 1,2008 i was 5.5 weeks pregnant....Well i got pregnant 2 weeks after my miscarriage and im 5.2 weeks pregnant again and everything is going well at this time so good .....luck i was pregant with in 4 months of taking the Clomid at 100mg.....So that is what I suggest.....Good luck..

I'm TTC baby #3 and my doctor will probably prescribe Clomid. I have PCOS, though.

Anyway, you should go to your doctor to see why your periods are so irregular. You may have something going on that should be dealt with before TTC.

I have PCOS too and my OBGYN prescribed Clomid. It didn't work for me and my RE prescribed Femara. I didn't get pregnant on either and am now doing IVF but the Femara was a lot easier on my body than Clomid. Make sure you check with you Doc on the BC pills and the irregular periods. They are usually the best to guide you.
