LOL at least i got to go on a 7 hour round trip to charleston

i was dissappointed when at 1140 the resident told me that i was no longer on the schedule for tomorrow but they are only bumping me back one week ... the dissappointment lasted only three seconds

immediately i felt grateful that my doc went by priorities ... i got to see the nurse "fight" to try to get me added and that was so beautiful ... most of the time we see health care workers as dispassionate and uncaring but i saw in her a willingness to plead my case to her doctors eventhough i didnt ask her too ... i got to hear that after the team reviewed my scans that they are still leaning towards a 50/50 chance its not ca ... there are factors to these tumors that are decidedly positive ... i got to eat in a good charleston restaurant and i was able to change my hotel reservation to next week without having to pay for it ... and best of all ... gas was only $3.81/gal.

i got to feel total peace in a bad situation and was able to get thru it and still be myself.  I honestly believe ur prayers were responsible for my positive attitude and ur information was so helpful as well. (i took notes !)

God richly bless u all who prayed for me it means more than i can ever express
love
sharon

** added ** also got the lovely news that i get one more drive to charleston on Monday ... its all good my daughter and I are going to make a day of it ... Im getting a chest ct for "calcified granulomas" ... so all ya'll who said this happened for a reason were so right and i thank god for ur encouragement
Love
sharon

Sharon,

You will have more time to prepare, pray, and chat with us for support.  This is for the best.  I have a good feeling.  I really do.

Still squeezing your hand,

Emily

Sharon, I'm sorry they weren't able to move forward tomorrow but glad that it is only a week's delay and that they are thinking positively.  Rest well my friend.

Well, you have one great attitude.  I will continue to pray that you win this battle and it is not cancer.  Judy C

$3.81 a gallon!!! That's a deal if I've ever heard of one!

I hope everyone gets it together for you to have your surgery next week.  I've never heard of such scheduling problems.  They must do things differently at your doctor's office. It's like you are on "stand by" for an airline.

Sharon,
I wish you hadn't have been postponed. You do have such a positive attitude. You seem to be on AWESOME lady! May God bless and keep you.

Sharon,
You have the best attitude. May we all catch it lol
I am sorry it was postponed and that you have to go so far away for the surgery. Although the gas price is wonderful and never thought I would say that at that price!
Did you drive there? and if so, did you have to drive over that horrible bridge? It is a long story but I had panic attack (I am afraid of heights) driving over that bridge and there is nothing you can do, I couldn't pull over. It was last year but I will never forget!
Lots of prayers coming your way for next week!!!

Well Sharon you just did it this way so i could give you all the good pointers lol.  I am sorry that would be annoying.  should i brag that gas in mo is 3.79 a gallon.  I am glad your were able to change your reservation.  I have a breast consult on your surgery date.  I am so sorry you have been so upbeat and caring about all of us and know you are postponed.

Keep the faith Sharon!  Everything will go according to God's plans.  I also have a breast consult on your surgery date.  I will continue to keep everyone in my prayers, as I do everyday and night.
