CT Scan

Mental note to self:

Do not let anyone in CT scan start your IV for contrast. I needed to be stuck 6 times.....finally the anestesiologist that I work for had to come over and start me! That sucked big ones. : (

Were you fasting or dehydrated at all? So sorry this happened .. when I had my Partial Thyroidectomy, since I was fasting for the surgery, my veins collapsed and the IV was the worst part of the procedure .. same with me, the anesthesiologist had to come and do it after 5 unsuccessful attempts~

Did you get your results yet?

My CT results were negative. My family Doctor is goint to do a thyroiditis blood test. If these are negative he wants me to go to a ear nose throat person......I want to see an endo just to become more educated about being hypothyroid and what to expect, but he does not think I need to see a specialist. I kinda feel torn because I really respeck them, but I want to see the endo. I have moved my apt up from Sept to Aug 18 due to me feeling really tired and the whole neck thing.
