Last day of freedom!

Well, I was determined to enjoy my last day of summer break before returning to work/teaching. Today was also my husband's last day of vacation. As I said earlier, he is building a swing for my deck. It's coming along very well. He is such a handy man to have around. I did enjoy my time in the pool while keeping him company as he worked on the swing. I didn't feel as guilty as I thought I would relaxing while he worked. :) I have spent a lot of time of MedHelp today. It seems to lift my spirits to know such loving, caring, and selfless people are out there. I'm going to pick up dinner so I won't have to fix anything. Tomorrow will be long after not being used to working for the summer, but it will be good in a way to get back at it. Tomorrow is when I will start to really feel the pressure to get everything done before surgery on the 11th though. I will see that my classroom is not ready, I will be reminded in our mtg. of all those paperwork things that need to be done before the 6th, I, no doubt, will begin to panic. I will have to do some serious self talking tomorrow evening. Hopefully I will get my laptop back from repair tomorrow as well. All my 'back to school' stuff is on there! What a bummer if I had to do all that from scratch. Things like this makes me vow to make back-up files, but it doesn't seem to get done. Well, I've spent enough time chatting and reflecting today. Guess I'll pick up dinner, take a shower, and relax in front of the TV for a while.
