next steps

Ok, I wanted to get moving so I guess I got what I asked for.
Saw my surgeon FINALLY yesterday.  He gave me two options, conservation, radiation, yada yada, or bilateral mastectomy.  I opted for the bilateral mastectomy.  I choose not to keep going thru this and I hear so much about recurrance.  If I were to opt for conservation and radiation, then had a recurrance, I could not get reconstruction.  
I still don't have my brca results, but it really does not mattter.   I will use that to make decisions regarding my ovaries.  

The surgery is scheduled for AUGUST 5...that is just around the corner....

At the time of the surgery they will do a sentinel node biopsy.  If it comes up clean it is a good possibility that I might not need any further treatment.  

I need to fight with my insurance because the plastic surgeon that my breast surgeon works with is out of plan.  I need to get pre admit labs, and lord knows what else I need to do.  Also I leave for Vermont vacation on Sat.

Never a dull moment...
