Bsamboozlement

I know that I need to try to gather all of the documentation for my Tax Return, and sort through to get it together. But I sit and look at the pile and gods honest truth .. I have no idea what to do. I mean I do but for some reason when I go to do it .. its like my mind and soul is blank .. not like the fog, but empty. What does this mean ? Its scary !

I would use the word "overwhelmed."  I shut down too over stuff like that. I think it's a normal part of being stressed about something and it seems like I always have stuff like that.  Mainly because I don't earn much money and I'm always applying for debt forgiveness or reduced medical costs. I'm also attempting to go back to school. I'm eligible for rehab services, but gosh they need documentation of everything.  I handle that feeling by giving myself small stepts to accomplish.  Like put what I have in a pile. Then maybe search one place with the goal of finding one or two documents.  This usually gets me started. It's normal to be stressed out about taxes - ask anyone on this site - I bet they'd back that up.
