For the past two days I have sat on the computer looking for answers to why I have such pain in my right rib area. I have had every common tests to find out something, everything is normal. I find so many people on here with the same thing most are from gallbladder, which I had out over 15 years ago so I know it is not that. I was checked for ulcers, so I know it is not that. I want to go to the ER but the last time I went I was admitted in and was so excited to finally have someone help me. I had a great GI who I thought knew what he was doing, he was going to do a ercp, which I think will give me an answer after reading all the forums here. But the day before the test, the stupid hospital DR decides to discharge me. I asked him about the test and he said it would have to be done outpatient and that he can't keep me in the hospital just for pain. HELLO, maybe to find a reason for the pain??? And the GI that was to do the test doesn't take my insurance. SO I am so lost right now. The soonest I can get into see a GI that does take my insurance is end of August. I can not keep putting up with this pain. I am afraid to go back to the ER because I don't want to hear there is nothing wrong. How can I get through to these DR to get some help. I know this is not in my head, I am not making it up, and that is how they make me feel when I say how sharp the pain is. Anyone, please help????
