Trouble with BP measurements

I am trying to do a complete poor man's POTS test, but have learned that my automatic BP machine can't handle low pulse pressures.  When I try to measure my BP after 10 minutes standing all I get is "E."  I think the BP machine is measuring the correct BP, but for some reason think that if the difference between systolic and diastolic is <16 that there must be an error.  
So.... I am now the proud owner of 2 BP machines- an automatic and manual cuff.  I am looking forward to finding out how crazy my blood pressure gets after I've been standing still for 10 minutes.
