scan tonight

well its such a surprise, because i was away monday thru tuesday ive not caught up with my week, and so its thursday and scan day. its scheduled for 6.30pm a strange time but i guess thats ok, Dave can't come with me because the rules say no kids9because they sometimes have to give out bad news) and so he'll be at home with them. they've gone for a walk along the canal at Bath but as ive a chest infection ive stayed at home. I planted some onions which needed transfering from the seedling tray and picked some very wierd and wonderful shaped carrots before my coughing fits got the better of me. The Erythromycin antibiotics i am on are sort of working, at least i didn't have a heaving fit this morning as i tried to cough up thick green gunk!
the dostor said its where my immune system is suppressed so i don't fight off the baby, so i am hoping that this CI (Chest Infec) is a good sign, my biggest fear is going in to the scan and being told somethings wrong.
Its going to be a normal scan in that i'll have to drink tons (if i can) and not have to have the thingy shoved anywhere, so to speak. just the ol' cold jelly on the belly LOL so im having a quietish day and hoping that my little astronaut is safe and well and ready for his/her big show.
my main aims tonight if all is well is to find outwhat the heart beat is at, anything over 150 apparently is a boy...tho i don't know if this is true or not but a good steady heartbeat is def what i want to hear!
so if all is well a new pikkie will be added to my profile...that at least is exciting.
