Hep C Treatment

Dec 04, 2017 - 2 comments

I was suppose to be treating the Hep C already our at least start but because the Hospital I use outside of UCSF has never treated a transplanted kidney patient before they have decided they need to set up a protocol to follow I guess I'm Grateful for this.

I will be treated with Mavyret just approved April 3 this year I will treat for 3 months instead of 2 I do not know why the length is more then recommended but I'm sure I will find out. I will also be participating in studies as a means of paying it forward.

I wanted to Thank you all for the support the understanding and Patience as I go thru the process of getting clean and learning to accept life on life's terms. It is difficult to say the least.

I have quit the vape 3 days ago also I was using a lil weed as a vape for pain but I realized it was more to dull my senses then for pain so I also quit that 3 days ago. This leaves me wide open, it is the first time in my life that I have been 100% clean since I was 12yrs old. It is not easy but easier then I anticipated..

Once again Thank you for all the support the confidence in myself and the Love it means the World too me >3

I wonder if it’s from all the medications to maintain the kidney? They could affect the medications somehow? Or just plain don’t wanna take any chances of the first treatment not being a total success! Whatever the reason I hope things go smoothly for you. It’s time for you to SHINE BRITE and enjoy your life. Wishing you only the best! Thank you for accepting my friendship invite:)
