Oral Thrush

Candida Albicans

sore throat

Since my last entry I have developed oral thrush, all a sudden out of the blue. It's also causing my tongue to burn, making my throat sore and I think I have acid reflux which flares after eating.

My husband also has it (not sure who had it first) along with quite bad athlete's foot.

I'm not sure if this is pointing to a root cause, ie. Systemic Candida Albicans or if it's another symptom, due to having a battered immune system.

hi! I'm srry u r dealing with so much! Since my second surgery in July I have caught anything and everything going around. My pediatrician said it is from having my immune systemm weekend after surgery and constantly haveing pain that my immune system is shot. Don't no if it's true but makes sense.

I forgot to update this journal entry but it turns out I didn't have oral thrush - nor did I have candida. Got both checked out and were negative.

I personally think that the problem with my tongue came from a throat infection as it's flared up again with subsequent infections.

The tongue burning, that is another question though as I can't seem to get to the root cause of it at the moment.
