I want to complain.

Aug 23, 2008 12:00AM - 13 comments

I DON'T FEEL LIKE GOING TO THE GYM TODAY.
Which is ridiculous, because I love how I feel afterwards.

But I just want to whine like a child about it for a few minutes.

I DON'T FEEL LIKE GOING TO THE GYM.

Ok.  Back later.  Whining done.

Get your butt to the gym! Then come back and tell us all about how  good you feel :)

I would give ANYTHING to be able to exercise!

Get your butt to the gym and be grateful that you're not in my shoes! *CORRECTION* shoe. (I can only wear one)

Say hello to Mr Creepy guy!

by Hoping4_2, Aug 23, 2008 03:57PM
LOL... I always feel better after going to the GYM to. Even when I have to drag myself down there, I'm always glad I did and I feel so much better and accomplished. So go on girl, go to the gym.

I remember that feeling so well! These days I'm a total, skinny wreck, but from 1998 through about 2004 I was one buffed up woman.  LOL!  Even back when I was physically capable of working the weights 4 days a week (got up to pressing over 500 lbs with the legs) and roller blading 15 miles 2 days a week, that mental struggle always existed.  It's too easy to listen to the voice of temptation.  "You've done enough!  You deserve a break - cheat on the diet and skip the workout."  Overcoming that little voice was a great part of the satisfaction in sticking to my routine.  Keep it up!  As you no doubt already know, the benefits are mental as well as physical.  I'm jealous that you have the choice.  :-)

I'm jealous, too!:(

Well, now you guys made me feel awful!

I did go, and had a good workout.  Mr. Creepy had today off from whirlpool duty, Swampy.  Thank God I didn't have to deal with him.

There were 2 Mr. Relatively Creepies in there, but they mercifully did not try to talk to me.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!  NOW YOU MUST FEEL GREAT!!!

Swampy will disclose that the hotter the water, the less creepiness is possible.

Peek is thankful for Swampy's reassurances on the hot water issue.

by Jaybay, Aug 23, 2008 10:21PM
The "creep" issue tells me that you need to convince Mr. Peek of the need for your own spa at home.  Between your gym workouts and his motorsickle-accident-prone self, it'll pay for itself in no time.  ;-)

Swampy - I thought it was cold that caused male shrinkage? :-D

I'm admittedly puzzled by the hot water statement, but I typically do not question Swampy.  He seems to know guy things.

I'm sure they can't do much with it when it's been in warm temps like that!
