Late Summer With Inez

Today is Saturday August 23, 2008. Inez is 103 years old and seven months. I took her out today, dressed to the nines, to visit her son in a nursing home. We took two bus rides and were out for six hours. Afterwards we visited a children's park (Inez loves children) and then stopped for coffee and cupcakes. Inez has several small strokes, but has been steadily regaining the ability to speak. She smiled and laughed at the end of the outing and stated "I had a marvelous day!"
