Freaking Out. . .or how I spent my day

Aug 25, 2008 05:49PM - 3 comments

This is how I ended my last journal. . .:
"Now the only thing I'm stressing about is this weird eye twitch/sensation I have in/near my left eye. . .
It's always something isn't it."

my doctor mentioned that my right eye is larger than my left eye. . .
prior to that I told him about the weird twitch/sensation i've been having since the surgery.
he said not to worry about the twitch unless my eyelid is drooping. . .but if one eye is bigger than the other then isn't the eyelid drooping?
i never noticed this before, I've  been going through old pictures and sometimes I see a difference and sometimes I don't.
now i'm freaking out what if the twitch/sensation is related to this size change and what could it be. . .I don't want to be a person with numerous health problems. . .

now i'm freaking out that I could have something else wrong with me
MS?  a Neurological disorder?   something worse?  too much synthroid?
nothing at all?
too much time at the computer?

aghhhhh!
HELP!

Also, it feels like when I blink, there is a slight lag if that makes sense.
I have a feeling that I am making it worse by obsessing, but physically there is a difference and I really don't think I'm making the sensations up. . .

just venting. . .

This is what I thought, because I have the shakes so bad. My hands and legs shake constantly. I thought I was having a nervous break down. But nope just hyperthyroid.  Hang in there. And make sure your dr. knows EVERY symptom.
Talk soon

Hi Sweetie ~ Hope you are feeling better today!  Know it is difficult and easy to be apprehensive when we're not sure what is going on, especially when our body has a new symptom and we're unsure of what it means.  If your eye continues to twitch and you feel it is droopy, then have the doctor look at it ... sometimes it helps to obtain the doctor's opinion and, if nothing else, have their reassurance that he/she feels it is okay.  Best advice is to listen to the signals your body gives you ... you know your body better than anyone else can.  Thinking of you and sending you (((Big Supportive HHUGGSSS)))  ...
