Just got home from the doctors

Good News: 2-3 centimeters dilated! 60 % effaced (thinned out)
Waiting for some test results and will find out about being induced Thursday afternoon

Bad News: My ultrasound last Thursday showed the placenta is starting to get "old" as they say. The blood flow to the baby is starting to become compromised. I have another ultrasound scheduled for Thursday at 9 Am and that will be a big deciding factor in when to induce labor.
If the blood flow to the baby looks worse induction this weekend might be a possibility!

My doctor also took me off that stupid blood pressure medicine because after taking it for a week and telling them my symptoms they decided thats what was making me feel bad. I knew it all along! GRR! I am going to be medicine free again just the way I like being. I just need to keep an eye on my blood pressure at home and if it gets high at all she wants to me call and they will try another medication.

Just gotta take it easy until he gets here!

YAY!!! there's progress... that is very exciting. what would cause the placenta to get "old"?? is that a common thing? so you could have your baby within a week?? YIKES, are you ready??

I am so ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She didn't tell me a lot about the placenta getting old but the blood flow to the baby being compromised is not good at all. The baby will stop getting all the things he needs from the placenta and basically makes it worthless for him to stay in there any longer.
