Hello--a couple of years ago my father-n-law had a stent put into his upper brachial artery. The blockage was caused by a piece of plaque that kicked out after a small heart attack. Since the stent placement he has had to visit the doctors office once a week to drain the fluid. I have researched the surgery and can find no information on it. I wonder if the surgery was certified or not. How do you get information regarding surgical procedures and their certifications???
