I'm finally getting an UGI!

I went to the doctor's office yesterday and mentioned my right side chest pain to the nurse. She took my pulse and blood pressure and the doctor came in about 10 minutes later. He commenced to freezing the warts on my big toe and commented that I will only need one more visit for those (the freezing is starting to hurt my toe more because the warts are getting smaller). Just when I thought I was going to leave unsatisfied with this visit he started asking about my stomach condition. How I was doing (how I was doing! wow!), if I was taking my meds, getting them refilled, etc. And then he took a listen to my stomach with the stethoscope and my stomach did one good jump for him. He asked if I ever got a stomach x-ray...to which I responded, "No," and said, "Okay, let's get you one." That made my day! That made my month! The nurse gave me a form which had check marks next to fluoroscopy and UGI! I'm getting an upper GI! Yes! However, I have to wait until...September 18th. With luck I'll find out what's living in my stomach by the year's end ;)
