2nd Ultrasound

So I had my second ultrasound today and was told that my gestational sac is empty...no fetal pole present. My heart is breaking. I feel like someone has given me a great big balloon to play with then turned around and stuck a pin in to deflate it. I have another ultrasound on tuesday, 09/09..Prayerfully they have just been scanning too early and my angel will appear...

maybe your ovulation dates were off a little bit and it is still early. ill be praying that within the next few days your little angel will appear and all will be just fine.

i agree with natemomma27, maybe it was just too early to see a fetal pole. I have heard of this happening to women. I will pray for you for next week and really hope that your little bean is visible then!!! Keep you chin up as much as possible hey. Take care

Okay so I have been reading on whether or not it is a common thing to not see a fetal pole early on. From what I have read some woman 4-6 weeks don't see one, but around week 8 they do. Do you know what your hcg levels are at? They said go by those numbers if you can't see it right away.

Hey, just wanted to say that at my first u/s they didnt see anything but a sac no fetal pole or anything, I didnt see that until my first appt at 6wks I believe. Everything is ok sometimes they can be off a couple days. Im praying for u lady but I know baby is gonna be fine.

Please keep us posted and you'll be in my prayers. I am experiencing something similar, my heart is with you.
