Epidural

Well tomorrow morning I will go to the hospital and get an epidural with nerve blocks and steroids.  I hope this works on my back pain.  In the meantime I have had to get off the cellebrex which just made everything worse for the last three days or so.  Thank God I can still take my Prednisone or I don't think I would be able to handle the pain.  I pray this procedure goes well and helps with the pain in my lower back.  Maybe it will even help a bit with the pain in my legs.  Too bad I can get nerve blocks in the rest of my body.  lol  Just kidding.  Thank you God for this procedure.  Please make it work.

On a sad note.  I lost a good friend today.  He used to be my manager and we became friends.  He was the best manager I ever had and such a sweet, caring, loving person.  He went to sleep last night and didn't wake up.  He was 40 years young with a wife and two children.  He was more than just my manager, he was my friend and we talked a lot.  I used to get called "teachers pet" because he hung around my office more than others.  We were close in age and just had a nice friendship.  After the last year I have had I would have bet he would out live me but this is just a reminder of how quickly our lives can change.  We must always show the ones we love just how much we love them.  I remember him showing me a picture of his grandmother one time and had tears in his eyes when he talked about her.  I would like to think he is with her tonight and always.  God Bless his wife and children.
