I had my surgery Thursday Feb 17th at noon got cut in 4 different places which is usaully what they do. The surgery went ok and I got put on Tylenol 3 because im sensetive to medicen. After the surgery I have been having severe gas pains and my bladder wasnt working right so later on that night after my surgery I went to the ER for the gas pain and my bladder. So they just put in a cathider to drain my bladder and they didnt do anything for the gas pain they just said their wasnt a whole lot they could do about it besides let my body get rid of it itself. So after that I went home. Yesterday morning I felt better when I 1st woke up.I ate and then a few hours later the gas all came back and I was so miserable for several hours. Couldnt sit up, lay down, or stand up for very long. The air would go to my shoulders, and chest making it hard for me to talk and breath at times which they say is normal but its very uncomfortable I wasnt feeling good so I tried to eat a lil lastnight couldnt really eat I was to gassy so I just went and laid down then an hour later I woke up feeling nauseated so I got up and threw up what lil bit of food I did eat. Then I went and laid back down and fell asleep for a few more hours and woke up feeling kind of sick again. So I got up to use the bathroom and threw up some acid. Im not sure if the acid is from me supposely having acid reflux or if its from my stomach being empty from not eating right. So I took a Prilosec and my antibotics and then I went back in my room to try to go back to bed but I even threw up that lil bit of water I used to take my medicen so I dont know if i got my meds down or not. Now Im awake and my face is a lil swollen Im assuming its because my bladder still isent emptying all the way like it should. Its like my bladder is still half asleep from my surgery. Its kind of creepy and Im so worried that this surgery didnt really help me because I feel so sick at times. Right now Im not in a whole lot of pain I just dont feel good. My friend looked up side effects of Tylenol 3 and it can cause nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, dry mouth and dizziness but I was taking it the whole time and I didnt start feeling nauseated until last night so Im not sure what exactly is going on. I havent took Tylenol 3 for 12 hours now.has anyone ever had any of these symptoms right after gallbladder surgery? Im just so worried this isent normal and Im going to be stuck like this. I still have the gas I have no idea when its ever all going to go away but its making me feel sick. I didnt think it was suppose to last this long. It will be 48 hours today since I had my surgery so Im gonna try to take a shower later on today and most of my symptoms should be going away but as sick as I have been im not counting on it which really *****. I know the gas is suppose to be normal but it came back yesterday and that was one of my symptoms before I even had the surgery so I wasnt sure and the acid I have always had a problem with that too along with the nausea and vomiting. Anyway Im done rambling. Thanks for taking the time to read all of this. If anyone knows if these symptoms are normal after gallbladder surgery please let me know or share your experiences. Maybe It would help me feel better knowing Im not alone and what I should do about some of these horrible symptoms.
