I understand now why the body functions in such a way during menstruation to make you want to sleep more. It's because of the hormones that get you all crazy and worked up that when your body doesn't have the energy to get all crazy and worked up, the best thing to do is just relax or sleep. I think that understanding this now helps me prevent from making any plans during my period. Because my body and mind need the rest. :) Yes, it does.
