I am now on daily medication for low potassium.  The nurse called today with the results from thyroid ultrasound, showing 3 cyst on thyroid.  2 on I believe the right and one on the left.  I wasnt told anything reguarding the details of the cysts except for the size.
right
.5 x .5 x .4cm
.9 x .6 x .4cm
left
1.0 x .4 x .7 cm
Set up appointment with endocrinologist, which isnt until Nov. 18.  All my thyroid hormones have been checked and are normal.  So now just waiting for my appointment, and I hope the swelling dont get worse.

Anything regarding echogenisity [sp] of thyroid/cysts?
Any TPO /TG antibodies detected.
The cysts probably could be observed for 6 month for the size change, with biopsy of the largest one.

Thank you for you comment!!  Thats was all I was told.  Plus the fact that they will want to do biopsy on them.  I'm going to get a copy of the report to see what it says.  Maybe that will tell me more.  Should I be worried because my lymph nodes are swollen as well?
