As I was walking my dogs today I realized that I ate a couple of cookies at band rehearsal Friday night and that is why I had another low grade migraine Saturday morning. I completely forgot I that I went along with everyone else and totally forgot about the sugar in cookies and ate a couple along with my yogurt and then I paid for it again. Making sure that I track this is a sure fire way of getting to the bottom of this and also realizing just how much sugar plays a part with Fibromyalgia and triggering migraines whether they are intense or low grade. I have to realize that everything that passes my lips will make me feel good or bad later on depending on what I ingest. I told my doctor this months ago about it's all about what I put into my body that relays the amount of pain my body is in. Now I really have to take heed and really focus on what other foods could possibly be culprits that I will also have to eliminate from my entire diet. In time I will have a better handle on it. For now, nothing with simple sugars as the result for me is quite clear. No Cakes, Cookies, Chocolate, etc.
