I have a nine year old daughter diagnosed with type 1 diabetes a year and a half ago. I read the forum and was interested in signing up. This will provide me with helpful insights. I often feel challenged by the diabetes and would appreciate any helpful advice.

My nine year old was diagnosed with type 1 a year and a half ago. She is now on an insulin pump which she is happy with. I still find it challenging and would like to join an online support group.
Also, I heard of an org. in Calif. called DOGS FOR DIABETICS and am interested in acquiring a dog. Any info of any org. here on the east coast? Thank you.
