Wow, time sure does fly. I can't believe it's been over a year since my last post. UPDATE TIME!
I'm going through my yearly Nuclear Medicine full body scan, which is tomorrow. Been on the low iodine diet for 3 weeks prepping for the scan. Which also includes no thyroid medication. Today's lab results revealed my TSH at over 100. Which is funny... I don't feel nearly as bad as I did the first time around. I guess some things just get easier. Hopefully these results come back negative and I get to continue saying that world remission. It has taken me exactly 1 year to get my TSH levels low enough to where my endocrinologist is happy. And a week later, I have to completely stop all medications...:/ But the good thing is it should go back down as soon as I'm able to get back on the meds. I'll keep everyone updated on how the scan goes tomorrow.
