Prostate Cancer

Questions please. In May 07 my PSA was 6.25. In August they did a CT Scan, biopsy in October and surgery in December. I now have inoperable cancer since the cancer had spread from August to December and the Doctor used the 3 1/2 month old scan. Is this within a reasonable time frame? The Doctor said on 12-19-07 I needed an ultrasound to check things out. Still waiting for the appointment. This was done by a Resident Physician at the VAMC in Memphis, Tn. Numerous complaints to the VA and every other Government Agency go unanswered. I'm a 20 year Veteran with time in Vietnam and a service connected disability. This is how we are treated by the VA. What kind of time frame am I looking at with the cancer spreading?
