Clear the clutter :)

Aug 16, 2011 - 0 comments

Work ends at 5p.m. however what time I leave work depends on  load . I am an Admin Assistant but I work in a small accounting/audit firm so therefore I have to multi-task and do some of the fuctions needed to assist in an audit or accounting. I find that whenever I set a time frame in which I will leave and it is..let's say 5 minutes to that time and my desk is still has alot of clutter on it, I get anxious. Or my desk is cleared but for some reason I am still copying, filing etc and I can't seem to just get out the door, I feel more than a tad bit irriatated and panicked. I have to calm down, take deep breaths and clear my desk reminding myself to deal with the most important and then work from there. Most of what is there isn't even things to deal with more like related files to whatever project I'm handling at the time.

This is the what happens sometimes in our heads, there is so much clutter in there that it is impossible to think straight and then panic and anxiety creeps up on us. It is important to clear the clutter and deal with what is necessary, just do it and get it over with, so much takes up space in our brains and cause us to run ourselves to a wreck. Take some deep breaths and relax, half of what is there is simply related topics to the bigger stuff. In order to get through that door and leave you need to make sure that you have left no stones unturned and all your tasks are completed thoroughly.
