I was VERY nervous, as I've had previous miscarriages, so I can't tell you how I felt when the Sonographer smiled at the screen and said, "The baby seems to be wiggling it's bum at us!"
It made me laugh and cry, and Hubby is absolutely over the moon!
I'm officially 9 weeks and 1 day, which is what we thought. The Baby measures 23mm from crown to rump. The Sonographer said, "The Baby has a very strong heartbeat." - My little fighter!
I go for the usual 12 week scan on 26th October, so hopefully we will have a clearer scan photo.
AM OVERJOYED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know, when the scan started, Baby was facing backwards and wiggling it's bottom, but it turned around, and even though it can't be seen very well on the scan, you can see the arms and a little face!
I'm so relieved after 3 miscarriages, this Baby is here to stay! Now I start Baby shopping, yay! :o)

i hope they give me pics, my friend went to the same place, and she said they dont give them out because people use them to get free baby items and clothing when they are not even pregnant idk LOL....it is not with my doctor , it is with a free clinic, a christian place, but i hope they do!!!!!!!!! i want it, but i am sure i will have another one, i will just be happy to see my baby!!!! I will def update hehe....

As this scan was only a reassurance scan, they gave me one photo, but when I go for my usual 12 week scan, I get the chance to purchase as many as I want apparently.
I can't believe women would use them to get free baby stuff, what's the point if they don't need it!! Are you in the USA? I don't know how things work there. I'm in the UK, and as far as I know, you always get a photo if you want one. Never heard of anyone using them to get free stuff tho, lol! My name is on the scan, so no one else would be able to use it anyway I don't think!

Can't wait for the 12 week scan. Baby measured 23mm from head to rump yesterday, but by week 12, it can be anywhere between 2.5 to 3 times the size of week 9, so I'm hoping for a much clearer photo!

I can't believe women would use them to get free baby stuff, what's the point if they don't need it!! Are you in the USA? I don't know how things work there. oh yes i am in the USA, and well as u seen they did give me a picture! The thing they did not give me, was my pregnancy test they had done as others could take that to get free baby stuff.....but yes so now i am 9 weeks hehe and will be having u/s soon i have doc appt today actually to find out! Maybe i will get lucky and have one today! :)

Can't believe someone can steal pregnancy tests and then use them to get free stuff, I've never heard anything like that before. Mind you, the way this country is going, I'm pretty sure it will catch on here! Bl**dy governemnt!
