got into a car accident ..nothing happened so far...and I feel fine.. baby seems fine too..
I was sitting in the back so didn't have a seat belt on. I got pulled back when the driver hit the breaks out of the blue and my back hit the seat..do u think I should go to the ER? or should I wait n c what happens?

I would be in the car,bus,taxi whatever on my way to the ER. Regardless of what my OB says!
The Truth is it can't hurt to go to the ER, If you don't go and theres something wrong it will hurt so go go go girlfriend!
r u crazy!!? I would go to the ER just to make sure everything is fine!!! Even if you feel good, its not worth the risk, just go make sure girl!!! :) : )

called my Dr to make sure he said to monitor 3 things; any contractions, bleeding, and baby's movement. but honestly I'm freaking out..trying not to make it a big deal cuz baby's moving and haven't had any signs of labour...so tired of this roller coaster..:|
omg Haz im praying for you and the little man I pray everything is ok go to the er just in case to make sure the little one is ok .( hugs )

Hey Hala! So sorry you're going thru more stress. Just know that our bodies are incredibly resilient! As long as you didn't get injured you will be fine. I had an accident with my first pregnancy (troy) when I was pretty far along where I actually was injured on my belly! It hurt so bad and I was in hospital crying/freaking out but the nurses and docs told me they see many many injuries on pg women and babies are almost always fine... Everything was fine just as they said.
As long as u didn't get hurt in your belly I would say stop worrying! :0)

Thank u very much Ladies. I'm feeling good so far. baby's kicking the S*** out of me and have been SO active (Thank God) I have no pains and things seem 2b stable.
I'm still gonna monitor my symptoms and rest for a couple of days for reassurance but so far I feel fine.
Cheri, I can't believe I keep going thru the same things uv been thru! let alone the fact that this baby's due on troy's birthday too!! hehe...glad things turned out well with both of us and hope none of us go thru such a stressful time..
I'm just SOO over with this roller coaster.. dunno how I can repeat this experience ever again!

I'm sorry to hear you got in a car accident. When I was preggo with my first son, my hubby and I got into a car accident as well and I was almost 7 months preggo. I felt fine, but the officers insisted that I go to the ER to get checked out. They were even going to send the ambulance to get me. My hubby and I ended up going in on our own. The ER immediately sent us to the maternity floor so that we could be assessed so the wait wasn't too long. The baby's heartbeat was monitored for a while and we were given an u/s. Turns out nothing was wrong, thank goodness. If nothing else, we got to see our lil' one again.
I say go to the ER because you can feel fine, but you never know what's going on internally. I hope and pray all is well.

awww Hala! Hope you're okay. If it were me, I would go to the ER (just because I'm a bit of a control freak so I would need to know if everything is okay). I wouldn't rest fine until they checked me over and did a quick ultrasound on baby. Just make sure you're resting and keeping an eye on EVERYTHING. Hope you're okay. You probably got more of a shock than anything!

Carly, ya exactly thats what happened. this pregnancy has turned into a nightmare. just had enuf of all this really! I don't think I'm ever gonna go for a second ATM lol ..more like an emotional abuse/trauma than a happy event! ..
