I'm a 19 year old heathy female. This started recently. Whenever I eat anything no matter how small my bites and how chewed up the food is, I feel like my body is resisting swallowing. It sort of feels like I'm choking, and my breathing stops but I know I'm not choking. It started about a week ago once or twice a day but as of now it happens with every bite of food I take. At this point I have to consume only liquid because it's too much of a hassle to have to cough out all my food. Sometimes it happens while attempting to swallow my on saliva. And very seldom while drinking liquids.
