Started taking Synthroid on December 6th after the doctor's office called and said that my TSH was 16. Normal was said to be around 4. Have had this tested many times over the years. It has fluctuated from the lower side of normal to the higher side of normal, but has never exceeded or been under normal levels. This is despite having all the classic symptoms associated with Hypothyroidism. Cold chills, shortness of breath, itchy skin, Sleeping at least 12 hours a day, the list goes on and on. For a very long time, these symptoms were thought to be attributed to an infection or liver condition. Fingers Crossed, We'll see how it goes. Thanks for checking me and my story out.
