My father-in-law is on life support

TIOGA, N.Y. -- Two men have been hospitalized after falling 25 feet and one of them had to be airlifted.



The accident happened at C & C Ready Mix Corporation in Tioga on Waverly Road where the men work. According to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office, the victims and a generator fell from the roof and the men landed on top of the generator.



There is no word yet on the cause of the accident or their conditions. The sheriff's office is investigating. Both men were taken to Guthrie-Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre,

The doctors have tubes running out from his brain to drain the fluids.  He's on life support and needs ALL THE PRAYERS PLEASE!!  They're saying if he does live throug hthis, he'd be a vegetable.  
I've been so sick, I've been crying all day adn vomiting nonstop.  I try to hide from the kids and tell them I'm sick.  I'm just so scared for the family and for my "Dad"!!

I am a wife of another worker at C & C Ready mix, please know we love Jr and we are on our knees praying for his recovery.  He is the best of friend / brother / father to my husband.  If you or anyone in your family needs ANYTHING please let us know. GOD BLESS you and GOD WATCH over your Dad, be with him, comfort him and his family.

Trust in the Lord God- He will carry you through this time...

Wow!  I didn't know so much was going on.  Our prayers are with both of you.  Make sure you are taking care of yourself still.  Try and get some rest for that baby.

He was prenouned brain dead on Oct. 14th and they took him off life support.  He fell on top of the generator and another guy that fell with him, fell on top of my father-in-law and that's how the other guy survived.  OMG I have no words as to how we all feel.  It obviously took us all by surprize and we'reall in shock.  the accident is still under investigation for safety hazzards and things because the guys weren't wearing harnesses (sp?).  

So we had the calling hours and open casket on Friday and over 300 people showed up.  The memorial was the following day at the cemetary.  y Mother-in-law has been going through alot and I'm not sure how she's holding up.  I know I did my share of crying and still do if I think about it.  I can't believe this all happened.  He was only 59...

We're thinking of naming the baby after him.  If it's a boy, it would be Myron Ward Goodrich and if it's a girl it would be Myra (but not sure of the middle name)...I haven't talked to my Mother-in-law yet, but I'll bring it up within the next couple months or so to her.  You will not believe how many people wanted to know if we were going to honor him by naming this baby after him.  So I think it's the right thing to do :)

Your loss saddens my soul.  I'm sure he was a great father/father in law....husband....and so on.  Remember him....the good times....remember when you laughed....and when you cried.  It's ok to grieve...but mostly try to remember him and be happy that he is now in the presence of God in Heaven.  He's already met your baby!!  probably giving him/her tips on how to get away with things.   :)   Seriously, my tears are for you and your family tonight!!!!

Oh dearheart, I am SO SORRY.  There really are no words that are adequate to comfort you and your family, are there?  Just know that all of your cyber friends are gathering together to keep you in their prayers.  All of us hope you continue to take care of yourself, while going through this awful trauma.  God Bless you...
