Hemaglobin 9.1, Dr. cut my ribavirin down from 5 to 3 pills a day

My Dr. called me to tell me my Hemoglobin was low, and I was suffering from anemia, one of the reasons I am so fatigued and sleeping without rest. She cut down my ribivirin 200mg tablets from 5 to 3 a day. Will get blood test in 2 weeks.
I asked her if this was causing the ringing in my ears, she said no, but it was why I was so tired. I wonder if these would cause my depression and irritability.

Any mention by your doctor of considering Procrit (epogen) in the event the anemia is not controlled dose reduction.  I really wish you didn't have to reduce.  You know how we are on this forum about dose reductions and each doctor is different with thresholds.

Sorry about the RBC...
I will tell you it will absolutely cause the depression and irritability!  and the restless sleep...
Cutting down on the Riba will help bring it back up...did the put you on any Procrit to help??
I know you work too and that doesn't help with the fatigue, brain fog, etc etc..

No Procrit,,thanks, I go back for blood test in 2 weeks.

I have been out of breath, dizzy and irritable and depressed.

I was planning on driving 5 hrs myself to meet someone I met on myspace and have talked to everyday for at least a month.
I was going alone and stay for 4 days.

Does the low Hemoglobin cause shakiness?

I am concerned that they dropped it to low, 600 ml, most will not even prescribe, because it is in affective.

If your HGB is low and your shaking, you can also loose  faint, do you really want to take the chance of driving that far? Hurt your self or someone else.
