I hear ya. I have been going through this since march 07 when I was in my car accident. In my case I have had fibromyalgia for 15 or so years. Had it pretty much under control until the dreaded accident. I have had so many MRI's its rediculous. Of course depending on what you get for an MD, I found out after going since March 07 with ZERO income that unless you have bones sticking through your skin Dr's are as they say Practicing medicine. Since all they can see are lower herniated disc and two other discs that they say are Normal for my age.HA...I tell them but thats where it gives me a level 8 pain daily and through the night. I found more relief through a chiropractor and he described it as the internal nerves in my spine. So unless you can find a Dr that will understand Fibro and is willing to listen then keep looking. Tell me more..Do you have fibromyalgia or been tested for it??? give me some more info. I found that what helped me with fibro and the mysterious pain that came into my life was a vitimen, more homiopathic approach. That is what took me from not being able to be of any use and sleeping most of the day 3-4 baths a day to working 40-50 hours a week managing the fibro. Dr's who will not show you the respect of how you tell them you feel you dont need. Find another. I just drove 80miles today for a 5 minute appointment with a spine specialist who told me nothing and wasted my time.
