Today I had a horrible pain in my left ear with severe dizziness and feeling like I was falling backwards all day long. I decided, insurance or not, I was going to see a doctor TODAY! I went to the ER of one of the city's best hospitals and after 5 hours of waiting (fighting off a non-stop anxiety attack) I got to see the doc.
After an evaluation and some physical tests he was almost 100% sure that I have an inner infection and since the symptoms I've been having recently are the same as the ones I've been having for almost 6 months now, he determined that I have Labrinthitis and possible Meniere's Disease.
He said that it is doubtful that I have GAD (as I was diagnosed earlier this year) and that the meds I am currently taking is an odd choice to be given (that much I do agree on).
He prescribed me a new medication and some ear drops to fight the infection and said to see him (or my 'new' doctor [when I get one]) after the 30 day 'script runs out and see where we should go from there.
**fingers crossed**
How am I
