Results for levels were given yesterday as ''2''.
I walked into the docs and she said 'I have some great news for you'. [You can imagine what went through my head, but no, it wasn't that. :)
Finished all the clomid i'm allowed. Too old for IVF with own eggs even privately. I guess its time,  after over 4 years of trying constantly,  to accept it's not to be . I will never hold my own baby.

I am sorry to hear this and it breaks my heart. My husband and I just started our first round of clomid. We have been trying for a year and a half but it still hasn't happened for us. I will pray for you. Did you have any side effects from it?

Hello Thanks for your comment and thankyou for your prayers. No I had no side effects at all. I got pregnant on the 1st round and was on a high for 3 months. At 7 weeks I told the midwife something didnt feel right. I had my 1st scan at 13 wks and only the sac was there. The baby died at 7.5 wks. No one had listened when I said something wasnt right. After I got over (physically) the m/c I carried on trying with 9 more lots of clomid. No joy.
But with regards to side effects, I was totally regular, shorter cycles , but normal ie 28-29 dayys. I felt happy on it prob cos I had hope. Best of luck to you. I will pray for you too. x
