Hi everyone. I am still alive. For those who do not know...I had surgery on Jan 11th.

I have been in alot of pain for the past few weeks. On Tuesday Jan. 8th I went to the emergancy room. They told me they were going to do surgery to remove a cyst on my left ovary. They started preping me for operation but later decided that it would be best to schedule the surgery for another day. I was told to return to the hostpital on Friday the 11th of Jan.

I came home and continued to feel worse. I began vomiting and feeling more pain than I had before I went to the E.R.

When I got to my appointment yesterday they realized that I was going to need surgery right away. They addmitted me and started the pre-operation proceedures once again.

I felt very safe. My Dad took me to the appointment and stayed with me as long as they would allow. Tomas was able to get a pass and come show me support. (thanx guys)!

While in surgery they had to remove the entire ovary. It was twisted and hard for the doctors to remove only the cyst. They also said that there was no blood flow through that ovary and it was safer to just remove it.

While in surgery I had a sezuire. Nothing too bad. Those of you may know I have had epilepsy since 1996, so it was no big shock for me to hear that happened.

When I got to recovery I found out my Daddy and my son were waiting for me! What a treat! I was happy that my son there so it made me snap back to reality quickly. The doctors allowed me to come home after a few hours or observation.

I have three holes in my tummy. They are small, but hurt! I am sore inside and I feel really weak. I am glad that damn ovary is gone and won't cause me anymore pain...so it is worth the suffering now.

I told the doctors from day one I could not take anything narcodic. I managed to do that all week. After surgery they did give me one perk...and one to bring home. I am in ALOT of pain! But I am going to take IB Profren for the remainder of my recovery.

I just wanted to let everyone know I am okay. If I have not called you I am sure you understand why now. Do not take it personal if I seem distant. I am going to need a few days to rest and get back to normal.

Thank You for understanding and supporting me!
Much Love-
MeLInda
