day 11

Had big burst of energy late last night and was awake until 4.30am. Woke up feeling groggy and a bit spaced out. Felt clearer as the day progressed. Got most of my missing results - Day 4 521, Day 5 653, Day 6 still missing, Day 7 172. Notice that rise from Day 4 to 5, and then it seems a rapid drop. Has anyone else reported a brief rise in VL during the first week? The study co-ordinator said it was not significant, but I can't help being just a tiny bit concerned. Ive had this thing for around 38 years, I think, 34 of them without knowing it. It wouldn't surprise me if people who've had it for 35+ years take longer to reach UND than those who've had it for five years or less. Or perhaps there are totally different factors like IL28B genes that determine the pace of viral drop. I'll be interested to find out.

Your numbers are headed in the right direction - Down!!  That glitch on day 5 could be possible lab error and with such a good drop by day 7, looks like everything's working the way it should.  Since you mention it, what is your IL28B (sorry, I forget if you've already told us..)
Rooting for you to be UD very soon!

Thanks for the encouragement CO. I don't know my IL28B. The trial doc was surprised this had not been determined in the initial blood work.
