I have no Idea how to feel

I finally saw my Neurosurgery and he finally turned back my adjustable shunt to where it was.  I have been fighting for weeks to get them to do that. So I'm greatful. I'm back to where I can take myself to the doctors. But, my pain killer I take once a day worked pretty good for four and a half hours then, I can keep going if I'm strong, and I'm not doing anything heavy duty. This is not going to get me back to work.. My doctors are starting to tell me things like well people live with headache. The examples they give me are people with migraines not people with shunts, and serious  medical problems. And they don't have their headaches 24s a day for 21 years. I feel kind of lost, I don't know what to do next. I can't give up. I am only 37 I have a lot more living I want to do. Lord please help put your hand of urgency on the doctors.
