I've seen this show, but these are so VERY rare cases. And I mean VERY rare. Most of these women didn't look pregnant to others because they were slightly overweight to begin with, and so bumps are less noticeable.
It's actually true that until you know you're pregnant, you don't get many symptoms at all, or look pregnant. I've known a women who didn't find out she was pregnant until she was 6/7 months along. She certainly didn't have an obvious bump or anything and because she'd had irregular periods anyway, and had spotting now and again during the pregnancy she just mistook that for a period. When she discovered she were actually pregnant, she began getting symptoms and her bump grow over night - literally. So, a lot of it is psychological. A bit like when we believe so much that we're pregnant, our brain's 'invent' pregnancy symptoms, even though we're not pregnant.
Try not to pay too much attention to this show and what it says. Even the doctors at the end explain the reasons for it. It's rare, and really not worth dwelling too much of your time on!
Well every woman is different and some don't even show even if they know they are pregnant. I know for a fact that anything is possible just because some women have symptoms doesn't mean everyone else will.
Definitely! I barely had any symptoms with either of my pregnancies. Once so much that I didn't know I was pregnant until I was already miscarrying. What I mean though, by some point, symptoms or not - most women will begin to suspect pregnancy and it's only in the rare cases (like the ones on this show) that they don't. Symptoms don't mean anything.
I hope you don't think I was being hateful and rude? I wasn't intending to at all. I was just adding information to it. I answer so many posts on the forums (most of young girls) who Google things, and watch shows like that and believe their pregnant or that they're going to be one of those rare cases and they never are! Just wanted to inform everyone not to always believe what you see or read!
females can be pregnant and didnt know it! i was on depo in Sept 10' and i had sex one time on sept 9th 10' well i wansnt worried about getting pregnant because i just got my shot a month before! well i started bleeding half a day for almost three months! took at least 10 HPTs or more and always came out neg! well a day before thanksgiving i went to the hospital and found out i was indeed pregnant (but may i add i only had sex one time! neg results)my symptoms were just throwing up! well so i believe that show is weird! plus i am a fire fighter and on a rescue squad and i have been paged out to a 20 yr old that her water just broke and didnt know she was pregnant she was such in fear (bad thing about it is i knew her) having her to calm down and see her in much fear killed me! all i could do is stand in the background crying and praying hard! so yeah you can be pregnant with out knowing!
I never said you couldn't :) I know you can, everyone is pregnant without knowing it at some point. We're all different and so some get symptoms, some don't. It just doesn't happen very often, that's all. I just hate having to constantly answer questions on forums from people that think they know it all because 'i googled this' or 'my friend says that'.
So much misinformation out there, which is probably why most of the people on that type of show didn't know they pregnant!
