Skipping Running is one of the best locomotion exercises for runners. Does exercise improve locomotion? Check out the latest study:Exercise increases blood flow to locomotor, vestibular, cardiorespiratory and visual regions of the brain
http://jp.physoc.org/content/533/3/849.full

However the benefits if you are not a runner are phenomenal! This exercise will improve your coordination, balance, strength, muscle power and great cardiovascular activity

First before starting this exercise try this exercise slow first to get the feeling of coordination between different parts of your body then try to speed it up.
From a standing position raise simultaneously your left arm and right leg bent till is parallel to the floor raising the right heel slightly off the floor then change sides. Then try to do this movement as fast as possible without losing the coordination. This is one repetition Beginners do three times  and more advanced 5 times

I just twisted my ankle so I'll be laid up a couple of days but this sounds good. Can't wait to give it a try.

I am weighting around 85 kilos. Will my weight kill me if I fell badly?

I have had a bypass 11 years ago and now my BP is being treated by my doctor and cardiologist with procardia Xl 30mg twice a day and metoprolol 100mg twice a day and my pressures are 152/85/92 on a good day. Will this exercise have an affect in these numbers and how long should I do them?
